Lead Installers and Measure Technicians - Multiple Positions Available


Renewal by Andersen is the most recognized Window and Door brand in North America. We are seeking experienced Renovation Installation Technician/Installation Manager for immediate openings.
Purpose
RbA of British Columbia is looking for a full-time Measure Technician with experience installing and/or measuring for windows and doors. The Measure Technician will be responsible for measuring windows and doors after the sale and provide support to all phases of operations. Duties will include a mix of hands-on and operations tasks. The candidate must have knowledge of replacement window and construction applications, be detail oriented and familiar with computer applications and/or use of iPads (training provided). Customer relation skills and ability to communicate effectively with subcontractors, clients and all members of the team are a must.
Responsibilities & Areas of Expertise:
- Project Coordination
- Client Communications
- Expert level Window Installer
- Planning, directing, organizing onsite project work
- Team collaboration
- Schedule management individual and trades
- Quality Assurance
- Documentation management
- Measure openings for windows & doors to enter in iPad app
- Anticipates customer needs
- Determine the materials needed for the job
- Maintains a thorough knowledge of product, install techniques, and construction basics.
- Recognizes situations that would impact customer expectations, job costs and/or code performance and provide solutions; document solutions for future reference & training purposes
- Assist the production manager in managing installs by inspecting installation quality
- Ability to resolve customer concerns and disputes
- Training others
